Trimunal is a drug based on ginseng, echinacea and liquorice. Multiple organic and inorganic components of these herbs provide for adaptogenic, immune stimulating and general tonic properties of Trimunal. It also has restorative and nootropic, stress-protective, anti-inflammatory, gastroprotective and antioxidant effects. The preparation improves, maintains and restores physical and mental performance and can be used for immunity improvement.
It consists of:
echinacea purpurea 200 mg; liquorice root 125 mg; ginseng root 15 mg.
The biological effect of the drug is driven by ginsenosides and ginseng polysaccharides, caffeic acid derivatives (echinacoside and cinnarizine) and unsaturated alkamides of echinacea, as well as tannins, sterols and other organic and inorganic ginseng, echinacea and licorice components.
Dosage and Application
1 pill 2 times a day (at least 8 hours before bedtime). For adults and children from 12 years of age. Orally, after meal, (in the morning) Duration of treatment course is 2–3 weeks. If necessary, the treatment courses and prophylactic administration can be repeated upon a doctor's advice. The maximum single dose is 2 pills (If taken once a day). The maximum daily dose is 2 pills.
Interaction with other medicines
Enhances the effect of psychostimulant drugs and analeptic medicines (caffeine and camphor).
Diminishes the effect of CNS depressants (barbiturates, tranquilizers and anticonvulsants).
Trimunal can be co-administered with herbal immune stimulating preparations, vitamins and honey.
