Entrop/Phenotropil (Phenylpiracetam) is a Russian nootropic drug with stimulant action.
By its chemical structure, phenylpiracetam is a derivative of Piracetam (a reference nootropic drug) with phenyl ring added. This difference in chemical structure significantly improved the ability of this particular racetam to penetrate the blood-brain barrier and reach the brain.
Entrop has pronounced antiamnesic, neuroprotective, and stimulant properties and is also shown to possess moderate anxiolytic activity, unlike common stimulants which often cause anxiety.
